I love writing sexy stories about dangerous heroes, kicking snow clumps off the bottoms of cars (Minnesota FTW!) and taking long walks with my husband (a writer of hugely serious essays!) and wishing our two cats could come along with us on leashes, but that turns out to be a road to utter misery. I’ve been writing all my life while working various jobs, from waitress at a zillion different places to advertising copywriter, but now I’m a full-time author. Dream achieved! Seriously, I’m so full of gratitude for that. I love writing books! I’m into running, yoga, and trying to save animals and the planet. My favorite TV shows are the Americans and Daredevil, and my favorite musicians are Elliott Smith, Sia, and Alice in Chains. I spend way too much time in coffee shops. In my spare time I write as the RITA award-winning author Carolyn Crane.
