Eu gosto de chick lit, mesmo.
Foi um prazer ler livros de Marian Keyes, o primeiro da série Bridget Jones foi sensacional, Claudia Carroll, Veronica Henry, Maria Semple, Jane Green, enfim, são livros leves, felizes, passam uma mensagem de superação, e invarialmente o final é feliz.
As protagonistas são normalmente atrapalhadas e têm dificuldades de superar algum obstáculo, mas normalmente possuem também qualidades redentoras que nos faz torcer por elas. Bom, isso não ocorreu com este livro. Aqui temos uma protagonista e mais três personagens secundários que dariam uma boa estória, se todas elas não fossem tão patéticas. Digo patéticas mesmo, porque todas são muito inseguras, covardes, sem personalidade, carentes.
A única personagem que tinha uma justificativa foi Olívia, as outras não.
Todo mundo têm qualidades e defeitos, mas não existia uma mulher adulta nesse livro que fosse capaz de verbalizar uma opinião sem morrer de medo dos outros?
Não deu para aturar, mesmo.
Para mim, é inviável essas autoras que tratam as mulheres como patetas.
Livro ruim, não recomendo a ninguém.
