Watched by crows and friend to salamanders, Lisa Creech Bledsoe is a writer living in the mountains of Western North Carolina. She's a hiker, beekeeper, and wannabe botanist. "I started making pilgrimages to the Appalachian mountains many years ago, and finally moved here to learn to chop wood, deal with bears, and identify every wildflower I find. I am grounded, nourished, and inspired in a different way here in the High Country. In my poetry I try to find that root and center, and celebrate the many gifts I find shining everywhere."
