Tinha potencial

Eu sou apaixonada pela história do fantasma da opera e tenho esse livro na minha tbr a anos. Finalmente me mexi para ler e acho que a ideia da história tinha muito potencial, mas não foi tão bem executada. Toda a ideia do vilão ser o pai dela e não um cara mau genérico quando a gente em momento algum criou ou associou essa conexão com o Cyril, ele acabou só sendo um vilão genérico. Muitas coisas foram apenas convenientes de mais pra Isda o que deixa a história meio meh. Eu entendi que a protagonista era pra ser má, mas acabou que ela ficou mimada onde era pra ser um malvadona legal, e provou que tudo que o povo dizia sobre gravoirs serem um perigo iminente e que todos estariam melhores se essa raça morresse logo ao nascer, fazia muito sentido. A única coisa que salva é o romance, por mais que eu ache que seria bem mais poético se o Emeric tivesse morrido na casa de opera por culpa dela.
