Hayden é um dos poucos que ainda tem humanidade dentro dele.

O livro se passa em um mundo onde a guerra acabou destruindo tudo o que conhecemos. Como se fossem os distritos em Jogos Vorazes, os sobreviventes se dispersam em acampamentos e tentam dar o máximo que eles conseguem para que os seus entes/pessoas queridos(as) fiquem a salvo nessa nova sociedade que se formou.

O slow burn é bem perceptível, e a tensão entre o Hayden e a Grace é palpável demais, podendo ser cortada apenas com uma serra elétrica.

Entender como os dois personagens pensam é imprescindível para entender como eles realmente são, e adorei o que a Megan fez com os dois nesse livro. Foi como estar dentro da cabeça deles, ver as suas inseguranças, desejos, memórias e índole.

É um livro muito bom e queria muito que houvesse mais repercussão sobre ele.
O exemplar não está disponível em PT-BR, então tive que lê-lo em inglês. O vocabulário é muito bom para treinar o idioma, e é de fácil compreensão.

Eu adorei, e mal posso esperar para ler o resto da saga! 🔥🧡
