Julian Sedgwick é autor de seis livros para crianças e coautor da história em quadrinhos Dark Satanic Mills e do romance Voyages in the Underworld of Orpheus Black, finalista do Carnegie. Enquanto realizava a ambição infantil de ser escritor, Julian leu chinês e filosofia em Cambridge,antes de trabalhar como livreiro, pesquisador e desenvolvedor de roteiros para cinema e TV, e terapeuta de shiatsu zen.
