O livro é narrado em terceira pessoa, com as visões da Nyssa, Aria, Alaric e Marius. Não gostei muito da parte em que eles se unem a uma companhia de teatro, nessa parte a narrativa é um pouco cansativa e acho que faltou um pouquinho de romance.

Eu gostei muito da personagem da Aria, ela é muito independente, determinada, destemida e sempre sabe o que fazer em situações onde ela está sob pressão. Confesso que até quase o final do livro eu desconfiava do seu caráter, mas ela se mostrou uma amiga fiel.
