The Hunt for Dark Infinity is the 2nd book in the 13th Reality series. James has done an excellent job continuing the series with this book. The writing and he plot hold up well and the book is a real page turner. It is also a little darker than the first book.

Tick and his friends Paul and Sofia have been spending time together near the end of summer break, enjoying each others company and hoping for a letter from Master George to ask them back for another adventure. It arrives a couple days before the friends are to split up and go back home. They then have a strange encounter with Reginald Chu in the woods near the Cemetery. The day they expect to be winked to head quarters they are winked to a desolate wasteland where filled with strange twisted metal sculptures. It appears Master George is giving them another round of tests and this time they are much more dangerous.
