In this volume, Lotis Master Frei explains the power of the Lotis words to Alice. That's fine, she thinks - but when he decides he wants to marry her, much to her chagrin - he tries to seal the deal with a kiss, and Alice is ready to fight. Rabbit-girl Nyozeka sees that Kyou has the potential to become a Lotis Master himself, if only he would realize it. Meanwhile, Frei and Alice must enter the "inner heart" of her mother to eradicate the evil therein. Complicating matters even more, Mayura has been swallowed by a very powerful demon, and Alice is not at all sure that her magic bracelet or the magic words will help her save her sister.

Yuu Watase
Yuu Watase (em japonês: 渡瀬 悠宇, Watase Yuu) é uma das mais respeitadas mangakás do Japão. Tipo sanguíneo Tipo B e sua flor favorita é a Flor de Cerejeira, embora também goste de Lótus. Teve sua primeira obra publicada na revista Sho-Comic (Shogakukan) aos 18 anos de idade, com o nome de Pajama de Ojama. Publicou algumas pequenas obras de 2 ou 3 volumes enquanto continuava seus estudos, até chegar em uma de suas obras mais aclamadas de 18 volumes (no Japão, a publicação aqui no Brasil foi de 36 volumes) Fushigi Yuugi. A partir dai foi aclamada como mangaká e obteve reconhecimento mundial escrevendo outras dezenas de obras. Ganhou o prêmio Shogakukan Manga Award por Ayashi no Ceres em 1998.
