Bom!

Confesso que esperava um pouco mais desse livro. Talvez porque eu, assim como a protagonista, adoro Jane Austen.

O melhor do livro é o choque cultural sofrido pela protagonista ao acordar no corpo de uma mulher do começo do século XIX. O pesadelo da higiene pessoal da época, o espartilho, os costumes e as danças.

A narrativa é agradável de se acompanhar. E fica sempre aquela curiosidade sobre como a Courtney foi parar lá e se algum dia vai poder voltar pra Los Angeles do século XXI.

Ás vezes, o problema parece ser a própria protagonista, que se comporta como alguém com metade da idade dela. Uns ataques de egoísmo e falta de bom senso que, francamente. Pra alguém que lê com tanta adoração os livros de Austen, ela parece saber muito pouco.

Se lá, ás vezes eu acho que o protagonista tem que no estressar antes do final feliz. De qq maneira, vou comprar a sequência.
