O segundo livro da saga Black Dagger Brotherhood trouxe um avanço para história em todos os aspectos possíveis.

  Em primeiro lugar, o romance. Mesmo ainda sendo algo como amor á primeira vista, o casal foi muito mais bem construído nesse segundo livro. A autora parece que não teve tanta pressa em nos entregar um casal perfeito, como fez na primeira obra. Tanto Mary quanto Rhage tem suas inseguranças que são bem trabalhadas ao longo da história. 

  Em segundo lugar, a guerra contra os lessers. A narrativa começa realmente a ganhar forma nesse segundo livro (o que só melhora nos próximos). Algo que ainda me incomoda são os Povs dos lessers que eu realmente acho entendiante e desnecessário.

Tudo que faltou no primeiro livro, esse aqui nos apresentou. O casal foi maravilho, assim como a construção dos outros guerreiros da irmandade, nos deixando ansiosas para ler as suas respectivas histórias.
