Depois de acompanhar os livros anteriores, muitos sentirão falta de grandes batalhas nesse livro. Dei cinco estrelas pelo fato de que Laurell escreveu esse livro para iniciar uma nova etapa na série Merry Gentry e ela conseguiu passar isso para os leitores nesse livro.
Não vou explicar sobre o foco do oitavo livro, só digo que estou louca para o próximo, previsto para 2012.
