Eona de Alison Goodman é a continuação de Eon, a estória de uma menina que se finge de menino e acaba se tornando um dos doze Dragoneyes, os únicos seres humanos capazes de controlar os poderes dos dragões para impedir desastres naturais e garantir a paz no reino. Em Eona nossa protagonista está fugindo pelo reino com o novo imperador e sua trupe para tentar angariar forças e impedir que o tio do imperador tome o trono. Mas enquanto Eon foi encantador, rico e o tipo de livro que te mantém acordado a noite inteira, Eona foi meio chato.

Eu estava esperando que Alisson Goodman mantivesse a qualidade, mas ela cai um pouco. Eona passa o livro inteiro fugindo. Ela foge do usurpador malvado, foge dos sentimentos com relação ao imperador, foge dos dragões, foge dos amigos que traiu. E toda a parte legal do primeiro livro, os desafios, as superações, ocorrem só no final deste aqui. Enfim, chato.

Mesmo assim, recomendo pra quem gosta de fantasia com um requinte de cultura oriental.
