Viagem no tempo, amor proibido e muita cena de luta

Eu amo qualquer história que envolve viagem no tempo! Por isso, quando vi esse livro sendo recomendado como um romance cristão com viagem no tempo eu fiquei muito empolgada para ler.
A história envolve duas irmãs do século XXI que acabam voltando para a Itália da Idade Média. Gabriela, a mais velha, passa boa parte do livro procurando por sua irmã enquanto tenta se adaptar aos costumes da época e não se apaixonar por Marcelo, um príncipe maravilhoso e prometido em casamento.
O plot é muito interessante no sentido de aventura e os personagens são ótimos, especialmente o Luca. 💕
Confesso que esperava um pouco mais da história, talvez a minha grande expectativa tenha atrapalhado o ritmo da leitura, já que eu levei uma eternidade para chegar aos 50%. Depois desse marco a história ficou mais envolvente e eu consegui ler bem rápido.
Senti falta de uma história mais voltada para o cristianismo, já que o livro é considerado como cristão. Também me irritei um pouco com a linguagem usada na narração da Gabi, mas isso melhora depois de um tempo.
Irei ler os outros livros da série, pois quero saber mais dos personagens e gostaria de ver um amadurecimento neles. Acredito que essa história tem um potencial enorme se a autora focar em temas que vão além do romance nos próximos livros.
