A princípio eu tive muita dificuldade de entender os textos. Porém, com a progressão do livro, eu consegui alcançar uma compreensão que tenha tornado gostosa a leitura.
Acredito que se eu tivesse um conhecimento melhor em inglês, eu teria aproveitado melhor o livro; mas ainda assim é uma obra com histórias bem interessantes e perturbadoras (tive que parar de lê-lo à noite pra poder dormir direito).
As notas do tradutor (ou editor?) são, em muitos casos, significativas para o contexto.
