Juliette hasn't touched anyone in exactly 264 days. The last time she did, it was an accident, but The Reestablishment locked her up for murder. No one knows why Juliette's touch is fatal. Tahereh Mafi
Tahereh Mafi (nascida em 1988) é autora best-seller do New York Times e USA Today. Nasceu em uma pequena cidade de Connecticut e é a filha mais nova da família de quatro irmãos mais velhos. Seus pais são imigrantes do Irã. Ela se formou na universidade de Irvine, Califórnia. Mais tarde, ela se formou pela Universidade Soka em Aliso Viejo, Califórnia. Tahareh é fluente em oito línguas diferentes; estudou em Barcelona, Espanha um semestre na faculdade. Foi esta viagem onde teve a oportunidade de mergulhar na língua espanhola. Atualmente Tahareh reside em Santa Monica, Califórnia, onde continua escrevendo. Casou-se também com um escritor, Ransom Riggs.
