The Winchester brothers step up their hunt as the last year of Dean's life ebbs away. While they try to complete their mission to locate and destroy the demons that escaped from the Devil's Gate, Sam searches for a way to save Dean. Along the way they confront creatures most people believe exist only in folklore and nightmares.
