Comecei a ler o livro sem grandes expectativas, para que elas não pudessem ser frustradas depois, eu confesso.
Sabia que havia um filme Hallmark baseado nesse livro - sou fã dos romances água com açúcar do Hallmark, Lifetime e similares! - e conhecia a autora por causa da eterna "Série Cris", então, mesmo que estivesse sem grandes expectativas, tinha a expectativa de gostar!

Que livro mais gostoso de ler!...
O livro é levinho, cheio de aprendizado e que, ainda que de forma sutil, tem sim uma descoberta de Jesus e do seu cuidado.

A história se passa no natal, numa cidade no interior da Inglaterra, e com neve. O clima perfeito para um romance água com açúcar!
Só que, acima de ser romance, é sobre família, sobre querer conhecer o passado, se libertar de velhas mágoas, transformar o presente e crescer.

É mais uma daquelas leituras que dão um "quentinho no coração".

O final do livro, eu confesso, foi um pouquinho abrupto, mas isso não afetou em nada o livro pra mim.
