Luke sempre ouvia histórias que a avó contava sobre BRUXAS REAIS, por exemplo, como identificá-las (sempre usam luvas e chapéu, têm narizes diferentes...).
As bruxas se reuniam todo ano pra planejar poções que exterminariam com todas as crianças da Inglaterra. A avó de Luke nunca conseguiu descobrir o local, pois a reunião era sempre feita em lugares diferentes. Porém, por coincidência, a reunião daquele ano seria no mesmo hotel que eles passariam as férias.
