Ken Robinson
Sir Ken Robinson é aclamado mundialmente como especialista em educação, criatividade, inovação e recursos humanos. Trabalhou com governos de vários países da Europa, da Ásia e da América, com agências internacionais e com as mais prestigiadas organizações de cariz cultural. Em 1998, liderou uma comissão encarregue de analisar a criatividade, educação e economia para o governo britânico. O relatório -All Our Futures: Creativity, Culture and Education, também conhecido como The Robinson Report - foi publicado em 1999 e imediatamente aclamado. Foi figura central no que respeita à criação de uma estratégia para o desenvolvimento criativo e económico no âmbito do Processo de Paz da Irlanda do Norte. Foi um dos quatro conselheiros internacionais do governo de Singapura quando este planeou tornar-se o centro criativo do Sudeste Asiático. Durante doze anos foi professor na área da educação na Universidade de Warnick, no Reino Unido, tendo-se tornado Professor Emeritus. Recebeu cargos honorários em várias outras instituições: Open University and the Central School of Speech and Drama; Birmingham City University, Rhode Island School of Design, Ringling College of Art and Design e Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. Recebeu ainda a Peabody Medal pelo contributo no âmbito da arte e da cultura nos Estados Unidos e a Benjamin Franklin Medal of the Royal Society of Arts pelo contributo para as relações culturais entre o Reino Unido e os Estados Unidos. Em 2005 foi distinguido pelos órgãos de comunicação Time, Fortune e CNN como uma das Principal Voices. Em 2003 havia sido nomeado Cavaleiro pela Rainha Isabel II pelos seus serviços em prol das artes. Costuma falar para audiências de todo o mundo (sendo de assinalar a sua presença nas Conferências TED de 2006 e 2010) sobre os desafios criativos que a educação e o mundo dos negócios enfrentam nas economias atuais.
