Kentaro Miura é um famoso mangaká japonês, mais conhecido pela popular série Berserk. Nascido em Chiba - Japão em 1966, com apenas 10 anos de idade começou a publicar o seu primeiro mangá (Miuranger) numa publicação escolar. Com as suas técnicas de desenho melhorando cada vez mais, já em 1982 consegue a sua primeira publicação em um mangazine. Seu trabalho mais famoso - Berserk - começou a ser publicado em 1990 e não parou até hoje, gerando inclusive uma série de merchandises, como bonecos, figurinhas, games, anime, etc. Em 2002, Kentaro Miura recebeu o segundo lugar no Osamu Tezuka Culture Award of Excellence por Berserk.
