Douglas Preston
Douglas Preston nasceu em 1956 em Cambridge, no Massachusetts, e graduou-se no colégio de Pomona, na Califórnia. É autor de diversos tecnothrillers e romances de horror juntamente com Lincoln Child . Preston começou a sua carreira literária no Museu Americano de História Natural de Nova Iorque e, para além das suas colaborações com Child, escreveu várias obras de ficção e não ficção a solo, quase todas lidando com o sudoeste americano.
