Gone continua muito bom

O segundo livro da série Gone apresenta um cenário talvez ainda mais intenso que o primeiro livro. Os vilões mais proeminentes aqui não são os conhecidos - Caine, Drake e Diana - mas sim um vilão sem rosto e personalidade: a fome.

Nesse contexto, o autor continua de forma fluida e competente, entregando realismo em um cenário irreal. Foi muito interessante seguir o tema fome durante todo o livro e como ele ia influenciando as pessoas. O fato de todas elas serem crianças deixa tudo ainda mais cru e cruel, já que crianças muitas vezes são impulsionadas por desejos, sem maturidade o suficiente para ponderar consequências.

A adição do Zil e do conflito entre crianças com e sem poderes foi talvez a melhor coisa do livro, mais uma vez, uma dinâmica muito real e forte.

Destaque para os últimos 15% do livro, que foram especialmente bons. Estou animada para continuar com essa releitura partindo para o livro 3.
