“I am Tii. I mean, this is my real name. My name depends on the time and place where I live. And I've lived so much... The year is 1998, after the coming of Jesus Christ, as Christians say. But I was born long ago, even before this Master came into the world, even before the man, as we know, came into the world. I think I was born with the world ... Have been thinking a long time about telling my whole story. I have been for some time, writing what women call the Journal. I call it the Book of Shadows. What else am I, if not a shadow of the one I'm living in? And this book is the one I decided to offer to those around me, right now in the web of time, since I do not know what the future holds for me, now that I completed the Wheel of Karma; now that I finished climbing the Jacob´s Ladder and now that I started using a body ruled by Aquarius, finishing the Zodiacal Mandala. To begin to tell my story, I have to say some things about the history of the Earth, the Man, the races, the Mankind. And to finish telling it, I go to the other extreme: our present near the turn of the millennium, which, to me, represents a return to the time of miracles, to which mankind must be prepared. Lili Machado nasceu no Rio de Janeiro, em 1957, é aquariana, graduada em Inglês pela Cambridge University, graduada em História pela Veiga de Almeida, e pós-graduada em Arte e Cultura, pela Cândido Mendes. É eterna estudante do conhecimento humano, especialmente dos ramos do imaginário. Morando com o marido e 2 gatos, escreve blogs especializados em resenhas de livros policiais: House of Thrillers (www.houseofthrillers.wordpress.com) e de ficção científica: Sci-Fi Now!
