Married with Zombies é uma mistura de autoajuda, comédia romântica, distopia e manual de sobrevivência. Com o casamento abalado, às vésperas de um divórcio, Dave e Sarah tentam resolver suas diferenças em sessões de terapia com uma conselheira matrimonial. Em sua ida a uma das sessões, descobrem que Seattle foi tomada por zumbis e que sua terapeuta resolveu lanchar o casal da consulta anterior.
A partir daí começa toda a aventura do casal. Como sobreviver ao Apocalipse Zumbi? Como resolver as diferenças que tanto afetam o casamento? Como se defender E conseguir resolver essas diferenças? Descobrimos tudo isso com eles.
Cada capítulo começa com uma dica de como sobreviver aos zumbis e como salvar o casamento durante a empreitada, vou deixar um exemplo pra vocês:

O livro é adulto, pontuado de palavrões e um humor negro DELICIOSO. A narrativa é em primeira pessoa, sob a visão de Sarah que é superdivertida. Ela tem uma reações com algumas atitudes de Dave que qualquer pessoa em um relacionamento longo consegue se identificar:

Ando bem apaixonada pela temática Zumbi, e a leveza com que o assunto foi tratado nesse livro me deixou completamente envolvida. A fluência da leitura é excelente, pontuada com aventura, cenas de suspense e romance. Para quem está querendo se arriscar na leitura em inglês, pode se jogar nesse livro, o inglês é fácil e a velocidade da narrativa ajuda bastante.
Outro ponto que gostei bastante também foi a explicação para a rapidez da pandemia e algumas particularidades que acontecem quando um humano é mordido por um zumbi. Achei superinteressante e bem plausível.
Pontos positivos: Fluência excepcional de leitura, bom-humor e grande potencial na continuação da série.
Pontos negativos: Faltou um estrela para ser um livro ótimo... Falta algo no texto, mas não consigo apontar exatamente o quê.
Dr. Kelly once said we needed to find a way to respect our differences and use them to our advantage. Tuns out we only needed to kill her in order to make that a reality. I wish we'd know that months and thousands of dollars ago.
