Publicada desde 1992 como Suzanne Barclay, foi autora da Harlequin Historical, se especializando em romances ambientados na Era Medieval. Ela fundou a Lake Country Romance Writers em 1993 e serviu como primeira presidente. Suzanne morreu em 15 de setembro de 1999 após uma longa batalha contra o câncer.
