Stephanie Perkins mais uma vez conseguiu escrever uma história simples sem soar clichê. Muitos outros autores teriam feito essa história comum e previsível, mas Stephanie conseguiu deixá-la profunda e ao mesmo tempo leve e engraçada. Lola and the Next Boy é um ótimo livro para quem quer dar uma pausa dos romances sobrenaturais que estão tão na moda.
