Pat Peoples has a theory. The theory is this: his life is actually a movie produced by God. And Pat's God-given mission in life is to become physically fit and emotionally literate, whereupon God will ensure the movie is a romcom, complete with happy ending - which, for Pat, means the return of his estranged wife Nikki, from whom he's currently having some 'apart time.' If only Pat will give up watching football, agree to perform in this year's Dance Away Depression competition, and promise not to tell anyone about their 'contract'. Easy, really . .

O brilho de prata das nuvens

Minha relação com esse livro é de retomada, já que li ele em 2018 até certo ponto e agora reli novamente em inglês até onde parei e finalizei a leitura enfim haha. Por se tratar de um drama que envolve personagens com transtornos psicológicos a história já chamou minha atenção. Não assisti o filme ainda, então vou falar somente do livro. Pat é um personagem todo complicado e encontra alguém mais complicada ainda. Ver Pat narrando o filme de sua vida prende muito a atenção, menos a parte em que ele dá spolilers de outros livros lidos por ele o personagem, sério tsc tsc. O livro te enche de esperanças, afinal a vida é da maneira como a gente decide encarar ela de frente, e PAT ESCOLHEU VER O BRILHO POR TRáS DAS NUVENS, O LADO BOM DAS COISAS. A metafora das nuvens e a bipolaridade é algo que eu amei muito.
