Se gostas de um twist histórico... força!

Provavelmente devia ter lido melhor o resumo disto antes de o comprar imediatamente assim que vi uma capa bonita de um re-conto de Rapunzel. Isto é um retelling de Rapunzel, sim, mas é um retelling histórico que interliga a vida da escritora mais conhecida do conto original, com a história em si.

É contado através de 3 pontos de vista - o da escritora/freira, o da rapunzel, e o da bruxa.

Até que gostei de ler os pontos de vista de rapunzel e da bruxa, mas confesso que cada vez que chegava ao ponto de vista da freira ficava incrivelmente aborrecida. Nesses capítulos parecia mais que estava a ler um livro de história, e não é para isso que estou aqui. Os detalhes todos demonstram que Kate teve certamente muito trabalho a fazer a sua pesquisa, e é relativamente interessante, mas não é para mim. O ritmo do livro ficou muito afectado.

Pensei várias vezes em abandonar a leitura, especialmente uma vez que é um livro de quase 550 páginas que se prolongou infinitamente...
