Bom, mas o livro termina exatamente onde começou

A leitura foi ok, os personagens se desenvolveram, mudaram e descobriram. Mas a única pessoa que merecia uma mudança continua no mesmo lugar.

O livro apresenta a proposta de um personagem principal trans, mas o livro trata isso como um impulso adolescente pra protagonista. Não tem nome social, mudança de pronomes e nem mesmo auto aceitação que se encaixariam muito bem no contexto. O final poderia ser o mesmo, mas com isso o livro seria mais completo.

Mas ao invés disso o sentimento de transição vem como "a única forma de ficar com quem eu amo", e não algo de dentro da própria personagem. No final de tudo ela não consegue o que quer, continua no mesmo lugar e afirma que seria uma boa Tia.

O que eu quero dizer, é que uma conclusão que diz "Eu não consegui o que eu queria, mas descobri o que eu precisava", seria melhor que o final que diz "Tudo isso aconteceu, e estamos exatamente onde começamos".
