Que história linda, um verdadeiro conto de fadas moderno. Cass é uma moça sofrida, vive em um ambiente deplorável, junto a uma mãe e namorado viciados em drogas. Seu namorado é violento e abusivo, sem quaisquer qualidades positivas. A mocinha se revela hiposuficiente, e um pouco resignada com sua vida, as pessoas a quem sustenta, seu trabalho e moradia, mas encontra seu príncipe encantado na forma de um rockeiro sexy e, aiminhanossa de tão bom caráter e entusiasta, que tira um pouco da credibilidade da história.
No geral o livro é empolgante e viciante, mas possui dois pontos negativos: a história é curta e dá a impressão de que a autora teria que contar um sem número de fatos em poucas páginas, e o segundo volume só será publicado daqui a um ano.
