O segundo livro da serie tem um tema bem diferente do primero que foi bem divertido. Nesse encontramos um enredo muito mais sério colocando todos na cidade em perigo ou assim parece. Mesmo sendo um romance temos cenas intensas e pesadas. Josh e Randa tem uma longa historia juntos, só não entendo como ela esperou tanto e por que ele se culpa por tudo. Adicione incêndios, um atentado, uma investigação sobre a morte de Danny, internações, e Danny chegando aos dois amigos com cartas emocionantes e este livro tornou-se muito mais do que eu esperava
