Por quê.

Antes, durante o ano de 1997, alguns números de os Novos Titãs caíram em minhas mãos. Na época, tinha lido muito pouco [e da parte ruim, posso afirmar em perspectiva], mas guardava em grande estima, os X-Men de Chris Claremont. Achei a revista dos Titãs em um sebo, que servia de ambiente de teste para uma experiência científica que buscava averiguar quantos ÁCAROS um ser humano consegue absorver antes de entrar em colapso. Por conhecer o evidente paralelo entre as duas coisas [super-grupos, adolescentes, o jeito novelesco, o roteirista perpétuo em uma ladainha argumentativa que se estendia por décadas], decidi levá-lo para uma estante mais limpinha.
