Excelente em todos os aspectos. Adler e Doren cobrem quatro tipos de leituras diferentes, em ordem de complexidade, buscando instruir o leitor a exercê-las de acordo com a necessidade. Como dizem os autores, este é um livro prático, que só encontra seu fim se sua proposta for praticada. Necessário lembrar que esse livro aborda principalmente a leitura cujo fim é a edificação da mente, e não a leitura para o entretenimento.
