Looking into New Testament 'fossil record', we find many ministries that we still see in the church today. Yet it is commonly believed that apostles are extinct - they can be seen in their present state in Scripture, but have no place in our churches. However, relegating apostles to the museum while at the same time accepting the New Testament as the guidebook for church life and practice raises some awkward questions.
