Um jogo perigoso
Terminei!(51/52): Suicide Game, da autora Haidji, fiz a leitura no kindle paperwhite. Li o livro em inglês, e a pedido da autora, vou escrever meus comentários em inglês e português. English first: I got this book a while ago but just had the chance to really read this last month. I really like the book cover and it instigated me to read the story. About the story: in an alternative future (well, who knows..) a group of people join a game called "suicide game", every day they jump from a platform, some of them survive, others don't. It is a bet against your luck. While you,re reading the book, you learn about the pretenders and the people working on the TV show that's called with the book's name. Some of them are very interest, but other I didn't care. The story is good, but took a while until it get really interesting. But I liked. About the book: I read some reviews complaining about the language, well, I can tell I didn't have any issues to ready it, to tell you the true, it was easier them other I read before. The only thing I didn't enjoy is the repetition of the the game introduction before every jump, but that was not a problem at all. Conclusion: 3 of 5 points. It is a good book with a lot of hidden moral point at the text, I will read other books from this author for sure. Sz Português: eu comprei este livro a algum tempo atrás, mas só tive a chance de ler neste último mês. Eu curti muito a capa deste livro, me instigou a comprar para saber do que se tratava a história. Sobre a história: em um futuro alternativo (bom, quem sabe...), um grupo de pessoas entrou num jogo chamado "Suicide Game", todos os dias eles pulam de uma plataforma, alguns sobrevivem outros não. É uma aposta contra a sua sorte. Enquanto você está lendo, você conhece mais sobre os competidores, e sobre os funcionários deste programa de TV que tem o nome do livro. Alguns personagens são interessantes, outros nem tanto. A história é legal mas demora para ficar interessante. De qualquer forma, eu gostei. Sobre o livro: eu li alguns reviews reclamando do inglês no livro, bom, eu posso dizer que não tive nenhuma dificuldade para ler o livro, para falar a verdade, foi mais fácil que alguns outros livros que li. A única coisa que não gostei é o excesso de repetição da abertura do programa de TV todas as vezes que um grupo iria pular, é chato mas da para abstrair de boa. Conclusão: nota 3 de 5 possíveis. É um bom livro, tem várias lições de moral escondidas no meio do texto. Eu vou ler outros livros desta autora com certeza.
