Penny Junor apresenta desde o nascimento do príncipe William até seus primeiros meses de casado com Kate Middleton. Ela aborda a vida de Charles e Diana e o fracasso de seu casamento, e como isso afetou William e Harry. Ela fala de adolescência de William e os anos em que passou na faculdade, quando conheceu Kate Middleton e os anos de relacionamento, seus altos e baixos. Ilustrado com fotos de Charles, Diana e os principais acontecimentos da vida de William até sua primeira turnê internacional com Kate ao seu lado.

Eu tenho esse ebook faz um tempo já, desde a época do casamento de William e Kate, quando sai procurando livros bons sobre a realeza inglesa. Essa biografia não conta muita coisa de diferente do que eu já li, na verdade, todas elas narram as mesmas coisas, a diferença entre o estilo de Penny e o das outras é o seu estilo de escrita. Alguns autores gostam de “criar” pensamentos e falas, como se estivessem lá no momento em que estão descrevendo no livro. Acho que fazem isso para preencher lacunas, mas acaba se tornando algo totalmente desnecessário e até prepotente quando um autor coloca que Kate Middleton disse tal coisa sobre, por exemplo a morte da princesa Diana. Ora, o mundo inteiro viu o funeral da princesa, e a Inglaterra parou nesse dia, mas assumir que a futura esposa de William estava se debulhando em lágrimas na frente da TV só porque muitas pessoas estavam assim é presunçoso demais. Este livro não cai nesse erro, apesar de parecer engrandecer o príncipe Charles em detrimento da princesa Diana quanto a criação dos filhos e a relação familiar entre eles. De qualquer forma, apesar de alguns erros, achei uma boa biografia, Fica a dica.
