A small Texas town has the usual features that can't be missed: iced tea, friendly people, and of course, the searing heat of summer. All of which suited Stacey Johnson just fine if it weren't for the fact that all around her were folks settling down in marriage. She had lost her chance when her high school love Josh had left behind their small hometown for the bright lights and wide avenues of New York. Slowly, she closed herself to the outside world and the possibilities of love.
