faço das palavras de anastasia, em uma carta para maria, minhas: “you know how my thoughts fly around and i can’t write it all down, so throw in whatever cones into my head…”

livro muito bem pesquisado e detalhado, as referências comentadas do jeitinho que eu gosto — ilustrou bem as dinâmicas familiares, as trágicas e curtas vidas de OTMAA e as neuroses da tsarista.

criei uma afeição enorme pela olga. meu emocional se encontra completamente destroçado pensando nas possibilidades e “e se” — completamente compreensível que a imperatriz viúva passou o restou da vida em negação.

ainda bem que o livro termina antes de detalhar o que se passou no porão, eu sinceramente não tenho estômago pra ficar relendo sobre aqueles horrores.
