This issue follows the return of Captain Marvel from his meditation in the negative zone. For him only days have passed since he entered the zone but for the rest of the world he has been gone for years. There is also a second story line showing The Sentry and a battle he has with Crusher Creel, the Absorbing Man. Creel absorbs his power as they fight, causing a lot of damage to the area around them. After the battle, The Sentry, realizing the destruction that the fight caused, registers in compliance with the superhuman registration act.
