so far the best book in this serie.

My expectations for the fourth book were low, yet the book surprised me. For the following reasons: finally, some answers that I craved since the first book were revealed, the book had plenty of romance, and made me doubt all the time about some point in the story. The plot developed from the revelation of the twins' relationship to the vampirate world. A complex web of relationships and untold stories for sure. Still, the way the author chose to write the conception of the children did not please me at all. Lastly, the issue of the captain still being missing makes me believe that he will be given a greater prominence in the next book. ▪︎Some passages I have highlighted: "'I'd like to get to know you better, and there's no time like the present!" "Don't ever give up on yourself. Whatever happens. Whatever challenges you face. Don't ever stop believing in yourself." Were some sunsets actually slower than others or was it just that when you were waiting so urgently for the sun to set, the moon took forever to rise and darkness to come?
