Maurice Druon
Em 1948, Druon recebeu Prêmio Goncourt por seu romance “As Grandes Famílias”. Entre 1955 e 1960, ele criou a série “Os Reis Malditos”, traduzida para vários idiomas. Mas o escritor tornou-se mundialmente célebre por sua única obra infanto-juvenil “O menino do dedo verde”, publicada em 1957. Em 1966 tornou-se titular da Academia Francesa de Letras e ocupou o cargo de secretário perpétuo dessa instituição de 1985 a 1999. Foi também Ministro da Cultura durante o governo do presidente Georges Pompidou, de 1973 a 1974.
