Não vou dizer que o livro é horrível, porque posso estar sendo injusta com quem gosta desse estilo de ficção romântica. Na verdade, eu já tive uma fase de achar o Sidney Sheldon o máximo, mas meu gosto aparentemente mudou.
À medida que lia, meu desconforto crescia. Tive a impressão que a história foi todinha escrita seguindo uma receitinha. Dois estranhos se apaixonam em questao de horas, um detetive e sua cliente. E embora ela tenha problemas muito maiores para lidar, como sua perda de memória, Bailey segue sendo distraída pelas covinhas do rosto do detetive. Abandonei.
