New writers and a whole lot of nasty comes your way as Vertigo unleashes another anthology of war-terror, that is, the second issue of Weird War Tales. This issue contains the following stories: "The Elopment" is about a prisoner of war's encounter with a woman disguising as a man, who plots to escape their incarceration and the man's struggle to return to the woman after she was murdered in a prison riot. "Mightier" is a wordless presentation which shows a simple signing of the man in power, which is the unnamed President of the United States in this story, means the death of several innocents in a split second. And... "Looking Good, Feeling Great" is about a wannabe soldier boy who goes on a bloody killing spree against those who ever underestimated him after being rejected several times by the army.
