Jeanette Winterson
Nascida na Inglaterra, em 1959, Jeanette Winterson teve inúmero empregos até se formar em inglês na Universidade de Oxford. Em seguida, trabalhou em teatro, antes de tornar-se conhecida ao lançar, quando tinha apenas 23 anos, o autobiográfico <i>Oranges are not the only fruit</i>. Recebeu diversos prêmios, entre eles a Ordem do Império Britânico. Seus romances <i>The Passion</i> e <i>Sexing the Cherry</i> foram distinguidos, respectivamente, com o John Llewellyn Rhys Memorial Prize e o E.M.
