Interesting to think on the subject an organize it in my head.
To drop conversational hooks, recalibrate for responses, tel good stories, make the other person comfortable, make eye contact, be easily distracted in dropping your stories but invest in when others are telling, involve everyone, accept being wrong, or being able to be convinced; be relatable, dynamic; think of your value as a friend to those around you, shared experiences; Side doors for less accessible people; host weekly events, focus on important friendships; Know what you're looking for; Goals of a Friend Group, Being a Leader of Friends and Appreciate your friends.
To put yourself on the other shoes, to think of your impact on others, how comfortable are you making them, how well or better of are they for having you as a friend, the needs and logistics of groups and so on. These are for what the book had to offer. Very simple, nothing you couldn't figure out on your own, but nevertheless useful.
