Diferente dos filmes e até mesmo da história original, O Zorro de Isabel Allende tem como base recriar o herói, mostrando sua infância e juventude, revelendo seus amores e seu processo de treinamento e convivência com seu fiel parceiro Bernardo que autora tem o zelo de coloca-los como irmão.

Uma livro cheio de aventuras vilões cruéis, piratas honrados.

Um outro aspecto do livro que gostei bastante é o tempo histórico. A narrativa ficcional se misturando com a história do continente.
