A história toda se passa em uma semana. O conflito principal foi bem mal resolvido: não consegui entender como a Helena se transformava em Jaguar se quem tinha o sangue Scarletti era o pai da Tasha e o Esteben, filho da Helena com ele. Não entendi se pessoas fora da família podem ser jaguar, ou se ela adquiriu a habilidade por ter tido um filho com a habilidade. Além disso, a resolução foi muito anticlimática: em 2 parágrafos o Byron matou os dois jaguares sem mais nem menos.
