Possivelmente o livro que mais estava ansiosa para ler esse ano. A escrita é ótima, a premissa não é revolucionária - a saga de um casamento - mas é bem trabalhada, então por que precisei de 22 dias para conseguir concluir a leitura? A primeira parte, Fates, é contada pelo marido e eu simplesmente não poderia estar mais desinteressada no que ele tinha a dizer, muito menos ler as peças escritas por ele. Cheguei exausta na segunda parte, Furies, e comemorei a mudança de pov para Mathilde, a esposa, que salvou o livro e a minha vida: muito mais complexa e dinâmica, tanto a personagem quanto a própria história dela. O vai-e-vem no tempo dessa parte foi muito bem estruturado e eu gostaria de dizer à autora que amei muito. Boas reviravoltas nos capítulos finais, uma pena que já nem lembrava mais muito bem quem eram aqueles personagens que ressurgiram no enredo. Em geral, parece ser um daqueles livros para se ler de novo daqui a alguns anos, quando a perspectiva da vida já é outra. Veremos.
