Há muitos livros que querem descobrir, ou tentar prever o futuro. Este não é um deles, mas é sim um livro sobre em como a tecnologia irá mudar nossa maneira de pensar e principalmente de trabalhar.
O autor utiliza 12 forças que ditariam os novos tempos desde o advento do uso dos computadores somado a internet. Estas forças estão hoje de alguma maneira em nossa vida e muitas vezes nem nos damos conta de se não utilizamos uma delas parece que falta algo.
As 12 forças tratadas que não são a tradução literal das mesmas são:
1 - Becoming - Atualizações de sistemas são parte do nosso cotidiano;
2 - Cognifying - A palavra já diz tudo, as máquinas estão mais inteligentes;
3 - Flowing - Tem de ser fluido, em tempo real;
4 - Screening - é preciso ser visto em uma tela, mas a tela não é apenas um monitor;
5 -Accessing - Se não for acessível de que serve?
6 - Sharing - Tem que compartilhar, Facebook, twitter, etc.
7 - Filtering - Em meio a tanta informação é preciso haver sistemas que filtrem o que nos interessa, para isso o Google precisa ficar cada vez mais inteligente;
8 - Remixing - Não pense somente em criar algo que não existe, essa é a era da transformação de algo já existente.
9 - Interecting - Tudo tem de interagir o máximo possível;
